Yes, on the question of asylum for Taylor, our President has a heavy responsibility as a leader of the sub-region and as one who has been in the forefront of contributing massively in ensuring and guaranteeing peace in the sub-region and in the process of so doing, some of his decisions might appear unpalatable. The question is: what would one do in his position where the sub-region, nay the entire world, look-up to Nigeria at this crucial period in the history of that beleagued country to provide the recipe for peace? The recipe consist, as you might have observed on television, the jubilation that greeted the arrival of Nigerian troops in Liberia.
